General
WILLKI is a system of architectural stones that are screwed to the wall. These are lightweight concrete panels measuring 9 inches by 32 inches, each covering 2 square feet.
WILLKI stone panels are of exceptional beauty and quality. Innovative and versatile, they minimize waste to less than 3% thanks to their integrated corners and reversible design, making quick installation on all substrates accessible to everyone. The EziKi anchoring key system promotes optimal ventilation. Made with approximately 70% recycled materials, WILLKI stone is an eco-friendly and durable choice.
WILLKI panels are screwed to the wall using the EziKi anchoring key system, so they do not require glue or mortar. Since the panels are supported by the EziKi anchoring keys, only a starter strip is required for the installation of the first row. The EziKi keys also create an air space behind the panels, promoting ventilation and allowing them to be stacked on top of each other. Their installation is quick and accessible to everyone.
The packaging is optimized to protect the panels from breakage while using as few materials as possible. The panels are paired back-to-back and then placed in two layers on a wooden pallet. The pallet dimensions are 36″x48″x25″ and the weight is approximately 1200 pounds (545 kg).
WILLKI offers a transferable limited 50-year warranty. See the warranty page: : https://www.willki.ca/en/register-your-warranty/
No, no maintenance is necessary. The concrete is durable and does not discolor over time.

Yes. WILLKI stone does not discolor over time and temperature. It comes with a transferable limited 50-year warranty.
Installation
WILLKI stone panels can be installed both outdoors and indoors on all substrates. For indoor installation, make sure you have a rigid surface screwed into the wall studs such as 1/2 inch plywood or 7/16 inch OSB to secure the anchoring keys.
WILLKI panels are designed to be installed on all substrates. With their length of 32 inches, the panels can be installed on wooden/metallic slats spaced at 16-inch centers.
WILLKI panels allow installation on various insulated formwork systems. Depending on the chosen system, you can screw the anchoring keys into the structure of the insulated formwork or on wooden slats if the reinforcement of the system is horizontal. If you are unsure, contact us for validation.
Yes. The installation is accessible to everyone and only requires six standard tools.
It is recommended to add 3% to the calculated area to account for loss for the entire project. A WILLKI panel covers 2 square feet. Losses are minimal because the panels are reversible.
No! Since we use multiple panel models and they are reversible, this eliminates the repetition effect. Additionally, the paint accent, which is embedded in the concrete matrix, makes each panel unique.
Two anchoring keys must be installed to secure each panel. One anchoring key can be used if the panel length is less than 10 inches (254 mm)
No. The panels are installed with the EziKi anchoring key system (screwed) using six standard tools.
No. The ends of Willki panels are textured to reproduce the appearance of a stone corner. You just need to juxtapose the panels as illustrated in the installation guide.
Simply juxtapose the panels. It is recommended to use the interior panels specially marked with an “I” in the groove end to obtain an aesthetic and efficient joint. See the installation guide for a detailed explanation.
Yes, to meet building code requirements, a weather-resistant barrier (WRB) meeting ASTM E 2556/E 2556M standards is necessary for exterior applications.
For the installation of the last row, you will probably need to cut the panels to the required height. Since you will not be able to install an EziKi key on top of the panels, simply screw the panel into one of the stone joints. The provided spacers will allow for an air space behind the panel. The detailed procedure is described in the installation guide
No, WILLKI is a self-supporting system, meaning each EziKi key supports the weight of each panel above it.
Yes. Being made of lightweight concrete, the panels are easily cut using a hand grinder, miter saw, or table circular saw with a concrete blade.
